Main features of Sequencer for Windows 8 and 8.1:
When you install and launch Sequencer on your Windows 8 or 8.1.machine, you will be presented with an interface as shown below. This interface is nothing but the main menu of the app. The main menu can be seen in the below screenshot.
In the above screen, you can get to the Sequencer screen by simply clicking on the Load Sequencer button at the top left of the screen. When you click on it, you will be presented with the sequencer screen which is shown in the below screenshot.
In the above interface, you can see the highlighted notes in cyan and the other notes in gray. To highlight a note, all you have to do is to click on its block in the main interface of the app. You can then start the playback of the sequencer by clicking on the Play button at the top left corner of the screen. At the top right of the screen you will be able to see the waveform which jumps along with the beats of the buttons that you have clicked. The beat will be decided based on the button that you have clicked in a category. You can access the app’s settings via the gear icon at the top of the screen. When you click it, you will be able to adjust various settings like reverb, flanger etc.
You can also edit a key of the sequencer button by clicking on the pencil and paper icon at the top of the screen. When you do that, you will be presented with an electronic keyboard layout where you can change the key or the octave.
