Learn Yoga at Home using Yoga App
To start, you first have to install this app on your Windows 8 PC. As you launch it, you will see the start screen showing 5 categories of Yoga asanas as pictures, along with the names of categories.
As you click on the first category, you will see a list of poses with pictures on the left side of the screen. Besides each picture, the name of pose is mentioned in English and Hindi. As soon as you click on a pose, the step-by-step instructions to perform that particular pose will be displayed on the right side of the screen. Use the back arrow button on the top left corner of the screen to go back to the main screen. This button is available on each category screen.
The first category, Seated and Twist, has poses like Half Lord of the Fishes Pose, Hero Pose, Monkey Pose, Cow Face Pose, and Full Boat Pose.
The second category, Pranayama, has poses like Deep Breath Retention, Channel Cleaning Breadth, Deer Seal, and Conqueror Breath.
The third category, Meditation, displays poses like Big Mind Meditation, Do the Right Thing Meditation, Love Your Enemies Meditation, Mantra Meditation, and Self-Inquiry Meditation.
Poses like Bound Angle Pose, Extended Puppy Pose, Head-to-Knee Forward Bend, Seated Forward Bend, and Wide-Angle Seated Forward Bend are displayed in the fourth category, Forward Bends, of the app.
