Grim Legends: The Forsaken Bride is a free mystery game app for Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 devices. The gameplay of the game is based on the principle which allows you to play the game by clicking on objects, thereby allowing you to pick them up and inspect them. You can use the important pickups as your evidences which will be stored in your diary, and the other objects go in your inventory which can be used for opening locks, breaking stuff, etc.

Features of Grim Legends: The Forsaken Bride for Windows 8:
When you install and launch Grim Legends: The Forsaken Bride on your Windows 8 or Windows 8.1 device, you will first be greeted with the amazingly intricate cinematics of the game which will tell you about the story of the game. The sound effects are amazing, and so are the graphics. You can skip the movie cutscenes via the Skip button.
After the movie cutscene has played through/has been skipped, you will be taken to the main screen of the game wherein you will be able to enter your name. This name will be used as the main character’s name throughout the game.
You can then click on the PLAY button in the game’s main menu, and select the difficulty level that you wish to play. Once done, you will be presented with the gameplay screen itself, and here you can start playing the game. Once in the game, you will be presented with the interface shown in the below screenshot.
As you can see above, you will be prompted to start a tutorial if it is your first time playing the game. You can see the inventory items at the bottom of the screen, the hint button at the bottom right, and the diary that contains all your objectives and evidences at the bottom left screen corner. All of these are conveniently located for easy access. The Hint button will help you when you get stuck in certain places, and the Diary button will allow you to view your tasks at hand and your evidences as well. In certain object scenes, the mouse turns to a magnifying glass and you can have a closer look at them by clicking on them. These then get magnified in a small popup.
You can then interact with objects in the scene by clicking on them to pick them up etc. As you pick up objects, your inventory slots get full. You can also pick up evidences (see below screenshot).
The above is an evidence that can be used later to understand what’s going on. You can call this a piece in the puzzle. Talking about puzzles, the game has certain puzzle levels as well. The below screenshot shows a puzzle where you have to click and drag the necklace pieces to form a correct pattern.
You can go back to the main screen by clicking at the bottom of the screen. The game can also be paused at any point of time via the Esc. button. Overall, this sums up the main features of Grim Legends: The Forsaken Bride for Windows 8 and Windows 8.1. Grim Legends: The Forsaken Bride is a very gripping mystery game which is extremely addictive. The only major drawback of the game is its massive size of about 700 MB, but apart from that, the game has everything that it needs to have to be an incredible game for all Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 devices. I love the concept, and would definitely rate this a 4.5 out of 5!
