Hungry Shark Evolution is a free game app for Windows 8 and 8.1 which has been developed for the platform by Ubisoft. When you launch the game, you will be taken to a splash screen with the Ubisoft logo and you will be able to select the various aspects of the game which you wish to play. In the game, you play as the shark who has to navigate around the ocean and eat whatever it can find to satiate its hunger, including fish and humans swimming in the sea as well. When your shark reaches its maximum level, it evolves to the next shark in the category automatically, hence the name Hungry Shark Evolution. The game is incredibly fun to play and makes for an awesome download.

When you install and run the game, you will be presented with a screen which resembles the screenshot below.
In the above screen, simply click on the PLAY button at the bottom of the screen to begin the gameplay. Once the game has started, you will be taken to a screen which looks like the below screenshot.
You have to click and drag your mouse around the screen to navigate the shark. The game is easier to play on touch screen devices. The health meter etc is displayed at the top right of the screen, and you can see the shark eating the prey in the screenshot above. The aim of the game is to keep the shark fed and not let it die of starvation or on being attacked from other sharks. You can see your score and time alive in the game at the top left of the screen. This basically sums up the gameplay of the game. Once your shark dies, you are shown a stats screen where you can see your achievements etc.
