Windows 8 Adventure Game: Kaptain Brawe: A Brawe New World
Kaptain Brawe: A Brawe New World is a free game for Windows 8 and 8.1 which allows you to play as Kaptain Brawe where your motive is to save the galaxy. The game is a bit on the heavier side so you might want to give it a pass if you are running low on data for the month. The game has cutting edge graphics with incredible performance which entails that you will stay glued to it for as long as you can imagine. The game also has cut scene videos at appropriate intervals wherever required to keep you on track and updated about the developments in the game. I have been playing the game for a few days now, and instead of getting bored with it, the game has started to grow on me!

Main features of Kaptain Brawe for Windows 8 and 8.1:
When you install and run the game, you will be presented with the following screen.
Simply enter your name and click on the Add Player button next to the text field corresponding to your name. Once done, you will be prompted to select the difficulty level after which you will be brought to the main menu of the game itself. There, just click on the Play button and you’ll be good to go. Once the Play button is pressed, you will be presented with a nice gameplay video with great graphics which will give you a brief idea about the game and its storyline.
You can choose to skip through the video screen shown in the above screenshot via the red arrow button at the bottom right. Once you have skipped through it, you will be taken to an interactive tutorial which will help you get an idea of the game controls.
You can ask various questions to your commander shown at the right side of the screen in the above screenshot by simply clicking on the question to which you want to know the answer for. The inventory can be accessed by clicking on the inventory cabinet.
You can see the various items including your medals etc. in the inventory. The above screenshot shows you a red indicator arrow as we are in the tutorial. Upon completion of the tutorial you are on your own and you have to decide which object is best suited for a particular purpose. The interaction with the world in the game can be done as easily as merely clicking on the objects with which you wish to interact.

Kaptain Brawe is a nice take on a game wherein the main motive is accomplishing intergalactic defense. I would definitely recommend it!
