View Photos From PC And Instagram: Aizo Photohub

Aizo Photohub is a free app for Windows 8 and 8.1 which allows you to view images from your local storage and your Instagram account in one place. The app is pretty neat and draws huge inspirations from Google’s Material design layout, as is pretty evident when you launch the app. The app groups your various accounts into different material styled columns on whose headers you can click on to reveal the detailed album overlay of that particular account. The first column shows the recently opened photos, the second column shows you your Instagram account photos and the third one shows your local storage photos. The second column of Instagram may be absent if you haven’t added it in, and hence you will be able to see only the Recent photos and the Local photos column should you wish to not add your Instagram account. The app has ridiculously smooth animation effects even on low end devices, and hence is definitely worth a look.

Aizo Photohub is available for free from the Windows App Store.

Main features of Aizo Photohub for Windows 8 and 8.1…

When you launch the Aizo Photohub app on your device for the first time, you will be presented with the below screen.

Aizo Photohub Main Screen

As you can see, there are two columns in the app, one is the Everything column which basically shows you the recent images which you opened, and the second column shows you the local storage. The app draws huge inspirations from Google’s material design, and you can already see that it’s pretty evident in the app’s design and the app feels as if it’s designed for Android Lollipop rather than for Windows 8 or 8.1. This brings a pleasant change as we are so used to the plethora of Metro styled apps that something new to the table is always appreciated. You can click on the header of any of these columns to be presented with a detailed library view of the images.

Aizo Photohub Library Viewer Interface

You can then click on any of the photos shown. This will open a small preview page for the image along with its details on the right.

Aizo Photohub Image Properties

To maximize and open the image in a full screen size, just click on the circular orb like button at the bottom right of the image preview. Now, with a smooth animation, a black background with your image will glide up from the bottom of the screen. The animation effect that the app uses in doing this is absolutely brilliant.

Aizo Photohub Full Screen Image Viewer

You can see a strip of the images at the bottom, and you can either click on these images from the bottom of the screen or you can choose to click on the arrow buttons on either side of the screen to switch between images. You can then click on the cross at the top right or use the back arrow button to go back to the main menu. Once back in the main menu, you can add your Instagram account by clicking on the purple orb at the bottom right of the screen, and then clicking on the Instagram icon in the pane that flies in from the right. Now just enter your login credentials, and authorize the app.

Aizo Photohub Authorize app

Once authorized, you will be able to see all your images in one place from your local storage, Instagram account and recently opened images, all grouped under their specific headers.

Aizo Photohub Instagram Account Added Main screen

You can click on the header of your newly added Instagram account to get to the library interface in a similar way that we saw above for the local storage.
