Rescue Team Lite is a free strategy game app for Windows 8 and 8.1. The game is set in a location which has been hit by a tornado and hence the things have gone haywire. In the game, you play as the rescue team workers who have been dispatched to restore the town to its former glory. With the earnings that you get upon completion of each mission, you can also choose to fix your own house as well as houses which have been damaged badly by the tornado. The game is based on the simple click and play principle and requires nothing but mouse clicks to be played. Touch screen devices are also supported and hence the game makes for a good download on tablets as well.

When you install and run Rescue Team Lite on your device, you will be presented with the following screen wherein you will be asked to enter your name.
Once you have entered your name, just click on the Create button to create your player profile. When created, you will be taken to the game’s main menu.
Simply click on the Start button and the game will start. In the beginning, you will be shown a short introduction video to the game which will explain to you the turn of events.
This can be skipped too via the cross button at the top right corner of the screen. Once all that has been done with, you will be presented with the gameplay interface itself. You will first be asked to select the level which you wish to play. The level can be selected by clicking on the traffic cone or the unfinished level icon at the top left of the screen.
Once you have clicked on the traffic cone icon, you will be shown the list of objectives which need to be accomplished to complete the level efficiently.
Just click on the Play button above and the gameplay will start. You can see the worker repairing a blocked road in the screenshot below. You can see your resources at the top left screen corner, see the remaining objectives at the top right and to interact with locations where the road is blocked/repairs need to be done, simply click on that particular location and if you have any workers free at that time, they will come running over and try to fix that location in as little time as possible.
When the goals have been met, the level is completed.
Just click on the Close button to be taken back to the level selection screen from where you can select the next level and repeat this cycle. This sums up the main features of Rescue Team Lite.
