Windows 8 App to Share Files With Nearby People Or Friends: Phriz.be
Phriz.be is a free app for Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 devices that allows you to easily share documents and files with nearby people or with your friends. The app works on the principle of loading the files or the documents into the app, and then selecting the contact with whom you want to share the files through the add contact button. The app is overall a great alternative to traditional “emailing the attachments” system, and although it works on the same principle as mailing an attachment, it makes the whole process a lot more streamlined.

Features of Phriz.be for Windows 8…
When you install and launch Phriz.be on your Windows 8 or your Windows 8.1 device, you will be presented with the below interface where you will be asked to sign up for a new Phriz.be account.
In the above screen, simply enter your desired username coupled with your email id and your desired password, and you should be good to go. Once you have logged in to the app successfully, you will be presented with the main screen of the app itself which will allow you to add files or documents to the app itself. In the main screen of the app, you will be presented with certain categories, which will look like the below screenshot. Do note that these categories can be expanded by clicking on the respective headlines.
I have already uploaded a document in the above screenshot, but let’s say I want to upload another document. All I have to do is to click on the heading Documents, and then I will be taken to the file sharing screen itself.
Click on the red text Add Documents in the above screenshot, and you will be presented with the file browser screen from where you can navigate and choose the file that you wish to share with people. Once the file has been added, it will be visible in the main screen of the app, and from there, you can share it by right clicking on it and then choosing the Share option in the control bar which resides in the bottom rightmost corner of the screen.
Upon clicking on the Share option, you will be presented with the advanced sharing options on your screen.
Here, you can type your desired message, and then select the contact(s) to whom you wish to send the file via the Add Contacts link present under the contacts tab. Here, you will be able to select your contacts easily with whom you wish to share the file.
The app also allows you to share photos, videos, etc. as well. Overall, this is a neat and functional app that truly deserves recognition!

Phriz.be is a great app that you can have on your Windows 8 or your Windows 8.1 machine to easily and seamlessly share documents with your contacts. The app’s interface is very smooth and polished, and I must say that the app does not lag one bit! I absolutely love the idea and its implementation as well!
