Radio India is a free internet radio app for Windows 8 and 8.1 with access to a variety of Indian radio stations. When you launch the app, you will be instantly presented with a list of internet radio stations that you can click on to start the playback of the same station. When you click on a radio station, you will be able to hear the playback almost instantly on your device. The app has a clean interface, and this can be seen by you almost instantly when you launch the app. You can choose from a variety of languages like Hindi, Assamese, Kannada, Telugu etc. from the pane on the left.

When you launch the Radio India app on your Windows 8 or 8.1 device, you will see the home page of the app as shown in the below screenshot.
You can see the language selection pane at the left side of the screen above and the radio stations at the right side of the screen. All the names of the radio stations are actually active tiles which when clicked will play back music instantly on your device.
When you click on any of the radio stations shown in the above screen, the playback starts instantly, and you will be able to hear the songs. The play button at the top left of the screen changes to the stop button when playback starts, and you can click on this stop button to stop the playback at any point of time. You can also choose from the languages at the left of the screen and then click on the radio stations at the right to hear the songs that suit your preference. The app also has control bars which can be launched by right clicking on the screen.
The control bar at the top allows you to add a radio station as a favorite, bookmark a song, play the radio station on start of the app, and the control bar at the bottom allows you to access your favorite stations, bookmarked songs and also allows you to shuffle the background image.
