Army
Army Rider is available for free from the Windows App Store.
Features of Army Rider for Windows 8…
When you install and launch Army Rider on your Windows 8 device, you will be presented with the launch screen of the game which will look like the below screenshot.
In the above screen, you can choose to start the game by clicking on the LET’s GO button. Once you do that, you will be taken to the bike selection screen from where you can choose the bike that you want to use. You might want to note that only the first bike in the list of bikes is available for free, all the other bikes cost real money to be purchased.
Once you have selected your bike, click on thae arrow button at the bottom right, and you will be able to select your level from the level selection screen which will be displayed to you. The game consists of a large number of levels, each of which can be selected by clicking on their respective level number. You will notice that initially only the first level is unlocked. The remaining levels keep getting unlocked as you complete the previous levels.
The gameplay itself is very smooth. You can use the up and down arrow keys to control the acceleration and brakes, and while in air, you can perform crazy backflips by using the right and the left arrow buttons. You can pause the game by clicking on the pause button at the top left corner of the screen, and you can also see your score etc. at the top left, right above the pause button. Once you have done all that, you will be presented with the level completion screen where you will be awarded stars based on your performance in the game.
You can choose to play the next level, or go back to the main menu of the game via the above dialog. This basically wraps up all the main features of Army Rider for Windows 8. Have fun playing it!

The verdict…
Army Rider is a great game to install and play on your Windows 8 machine if you are looking for some means to pass your time without getting tired. The game is lightweight as well, and hence doesn’t drain a lot of battery. The only drawback of the game that I found was that only one bike is available for free in the game, and if you wish to use other bikes, you need to pay for them with real money. Apart from that, the game has everything that it needs to have to be a truly great game!
I rate this game a 4 out of 5.
Get Army Rider.
