Quick Gmail is a free app and can be obtained on your device from the Windows App Store.
Major features and details of the app:
As I have already mentioned in the introduction to this article, when you launch the Quick Gmail app on your device, all you will see is the login screen. From this login screen you can access your Gmail id by inputting your credentials.
You can also choose to change the language in which the app displays the content by clicking on the language toggle dropdown menu at the bottom right of the screen. Once logged in, you will be shown the standard Gmail interface with all your emails being displayed in the Inbox folder.
You can read your emails by the simple gesture of tapping or clicking on the email which you wish to read. The email opens up instantly. You can see the email opened up for demonstration purposes in the screenshot below, along with the control bar of the app.
The control bar of the app allows you to reload the mails or access the about section of the app. I don’t know how the app does this, but somehow Gmail loads up a lot faster on this app than it loads up on my browser. The app really does the job of being a good web wrapper pretty flawlessly.
Bear in mind that the app is ad supported, and clicking on those ads every once in a while is a good way to contribute to the app’s developers!
Quick Gmail is a free app which allows you to check your mails on your Windows 8 or 8.1 device. The app enables you to be in touch with your near and dear ones by allowing you to send mails through your Gmail account. Moreover, the app loads up Gmail at a pretty fast speed, which is a nice touch.
