Windows 8 Match 3 Game With A Twist: Sparkle Epic
Sparkle Epic is a good match 3 game app for Windows 8 and 8.1 with a twist. When you launch the game on your device, what follows is a small tutorial of the game and once the tutorial is through and done with, you will be presented with the level selection screen. The game is one with a twist because in the game you have to aim and launch the same colored balls at the moving balls which are coming towards you to form a group of three or more balls (or orbs). The game also shows occasional powerups which can be collected by launching an orb at them.

The features set of Sparkle Epic:
When you run the game, the following screen is displayed.
You can click anywhere in the main screen to be presented with the tutorial page.
Once the tutorial is over, you will be presented with the game’s level selection screen.
Click on the arrow button to start the level. Once started, the gameplay screen is presented wherein you can create matches of three by adjusting the aimer appropriately with your mouse and shooting at the direction of the oncoming orbs. In the screenshot below you can see that I have created a group of three orbs.
The orbs vanish from the screen when a group of three or more has been created. Once you have completed the level, you will see the below shown screen on your device.
The game also has certain power ups which appear on the screen. These are shown below.
You can see that the aimer now has the fire bolts powerup onto it which can blast off any orb. This concludes the main features of Sparkle Epic for Windows 8 and 8.1.
