Free Windows 8 Mystery Game App: Dungeon Mystery
Dungeon Mystery is a well designed 3D game app for Windows 8 and 8.1 in which you play as the warrior who is the main protagonist. Your aim is to save yourself from the attacks of enemies scattered around you, collect the torch from the dungeon and plant it back at the base. This sums up the storyline in brief of the game. Although this sounds easy, it’s not so. The game’s map is huge and you basically have to run from the enemies, as you don’t have any weapon, and your only savior is your heavy armor which you are wearing. To pick up the torch (or other items), you can use the Q button on the keyboard, and you can use the arrow buttons or the WASD keys for motion. The field of view can be adjusted by moving your mouse around. Also, you can hold the Shift key if you wish to walk, and pressing the spacebar will make you jump.

When you launch the Dungeon Mystery game, you will be shown the below screen.
You can choose to read the instructions of the game by pressing the Instructions button at the top, or you can choose to start the gameplay via clicking on the Play button at the bottom of the screen. You will be presented with the 3D world of the game when you press the Play button. This will resemble the below screenshot.
You can see that I am being attacked by an enemy in the above screenshot. The only option you have when you are being attacked is to run, as the game does not offer any way to kill the enemies. Don’t worry though, because you can easily outrun the enemies and moreover your heavy armor will make sure that you don’t take too many damage points. Your remaining health is seen at the top of the screen. In the game, you have to reach the dungeon, and collect the torch from there, then get it back to your base. The dungeon is pretty far from the base, and enemies are spread out throughout the map, so you have to make sure that you hurry. You can see the dungeon in the below screenshot.
Be aware that as you enter the dungeons, you will encounter more powerful enemies who will drain more of your health with a single blow. Find the torch in the dungeon, pick it up and return to the base. Once all that has been done, it is game over, and you have successfully won the game. From the game over screen, you can also choose to restart the game.
