Windows 8 release reportedly to-be-shipped in October. According to Bloomberg report, Microsoft has plans to finish up with its Windows 8 work by this summer, all set to launch the Windows 8 next big version in somewhere around October.

Bloomberg also reported that maximum of five Windows devices running ARM system will be joining the rollout, along with a decent number of Intel machines. The report finally confirms the release time very much similar to what most of the analysts have been expecting. Microsoft is planning to target Christmas, all set to let Christmas shoppers shop the new Windows 8 version.

However, reports said that Microsoft will draft the exact details of Windows 8 release in April, at an event. Microsoft will reportedly host an Industry event for all its partners in early April. Hence, the company will announce the exact release time in the same Industry Event.

Analyst Michael Gartenberg said, “If they miss the September-October time frame, they’re going to be stuck without being able to ship anything in 2012”.

Microsoft always run its Windows Operating System on Intel Chips, hence it is very much easier for Microsoft to get Windows 8 ready for Intel Processors.

The president of Windows business, Steven Sinofsky said that Microsoft is planning to include both Intel and ARM-based systems available in the next version of Windows 8. He said, “Our collective goal is for them to ship at the same time,” he said in an interview last month. “I wouldn’t be saying it’s a goal if I didn’t think we could do it.”
