The app is very lightweight and on a plus side, the app allows you to multitask as well by playing the audio stream of the video in the background when you minimize the app. Overall the app makes for a great download on devices running Windows 8 or 8.1 if you are looking for a lightweight app which plays back almost all major formats of video files on your device, without much trouble.

When you run the app on your device, you will be presented with the main screen of the app which looks like the screenshot below.
The app looks great with colorful labeled toggles at the very bottom of the screen. You can click on the Pick Video button at the bottom of the screen which leads to the file browser screen, and from here, you can go ahead and choose the video file that you wish to play back. You can see that I have chosen a file for playback in the below screenshot and it’s being played back smoothly in a small window.
You can turn this windowed playback into a full screen playback by clicking on the Full Screen button at the bottom right of the screen.
