Windows 8 Puzzle Game to Match Same Berries: Berry5000
Berry5000 is a free puzzle game app for Windows 8 and 8.1 in which you have to form combos by joining three or more similar berries. Swiping more than three similar berries gives you a special berry which can be used to combine with other berries of the same type to generate a power attack. The game has relatively simple controls which can be played by swiping together the berries by your finger or with your mouse clicks (click and drag gesture).
Berry5000 is available for free from the Windows App Store.
Main features of Berry5000 for Windows 8 and 8.1:
When you install and launch Berry5000 on your device, you will be presented with the instructions screen which looks like the below screenshot.
Simply click on the arrow buttons below the instructions screen to read through the instructions. When you have read through the instructions, you can click on the cross button on the instructions box to proceed to the main menu of the game. In the main menu of the game, you can click on the Play button to start the game itself. When you have pressed the Play button, you will be taken to the gameplay screen itself. This is shown in the screenshot below.
To make a combo, simply slide together the similar berries to create a combo. If you look towards the left side of the screen, you can see the blue berries which are creating a combo of 4. You can see that I have created this combo in the screenshot below.
You can see the score meter at the top left corner of the screen. This shows you the current score which you are at. You can pause the game at any time by using the pause button at the top right corner of the screen. Pausing the game brings up a menu as shown in the screenshot below.
From the pause menu, you can choose to turn off the sounds or turn them back on, select the level which you wish to play or restart the game itself. This concludes the main features of the Berry5000 game app for Windows 8 and 8.1.

Berry5000 is a free well designed puzzle game app for Windows 8 and 8.1. The app allows you to test your wits and see how far you can get in the game and how high a score you can create. Overall the game has nice graphic performance and the easy controls make it really great for all devices, even if they are running on an older chipset.
