The game involves peering through evidences and clues that you will come across along the way, and also involves finding hidden objects and uncovering valuable objects that may be of use somehwere else in the game area. Clockwork Tales: Of Glass and Ink is a well designed game that has a lot of features to be talked about. When you launch the game, you will be prompted to enter your name in the main menu, after which you can click Play to start the game.
Upon clicking Play in the main menu, you will be greeted immediately with the impressive high definition cinematics of the game which look gorgeous and detail you about the story of the game at the same time. This can also be skipped through via the Skip button.
Once the cinematics play through, you will be presented with the main interface of the gameplay itself. You will be asked if you want to see the interactive tutorial, and the good part is that you can always skip the tutorial part if you know how the game works.
The game in itself consists of the following important elements.
Diary: At the bottom left, you can access your diary which shows all the clues and information that you have collected in a sensible manner by linking the clues. Your map is also located in the diary which can be accessed by clicking Map page leaflet at the left.
Inventory: Conveniently located at the bottom of the screen, this stores the useful items that you come across in the game. These items can be used for other purposes, for instance if you pick up a key, you can open a lock with it and so on.
Hidden Object Scenes: These are useful for finding important stuff like clues, evidences etc. which can only be uncovered by completing these levels.
You can see the objects shown at the bottom, and you can locate them by clicking on them in the scene above. You can also use the Hint button at the bottom right if you get stuck anywhere, and it will point you to a correct object which you can then pick up. The Hint button can also be used in places where you get stuck, and not necessarily on the hidden object levels.

The game scores full points for design, gameplay performance, cinematics as well as the background score. I absolutely love every aspect of the game, and you are sure to get hooked on to this game as well! I rate this game a well deserved 4.5 out of 5!
