When you install and launch the game, you will be presented with the main screen of the game which allows you to easily play by selecting a difficulty level. The game has interactive tutorial as well which will help you to understand what the game is actually about, and how to play it. The game is full of mini games like puzzles and hidden object scenes which yield evidences as the reward. When you install and launch Tales from the Dragon Mountain: The Strix on your Windows 8 device, you will be presented with the below screen. As you can see below, this is the screen where you have to enter your name.
When you have entered your name in the above shown screen, you will be taken to the next screen which is the main menu of the game. It is here that you can choose to start new levels for playing them. When you have clicked on the Play button and selected a difficulty level, you will be shown a short movie which will tell you something about the story of the game. You can watch it or you can also choose to skip through it via the conveniently located Skip button at the top right.
Now, you will be taken to the main game play screen. Here, you will be prompted if you want to start an interactive tutorial. It is recommended that if it is your first time playing the game, you should play the tutorial to know how to play the game.
Throughout the game, you can interact with objects by clicking on them. At the bottom of the screen is your inventory closet, and at the bottom left is the hints button. At the bottom right, you can see various toggles that allow you to easily open your book of clues, access the game’s menu or to see your tasks at hand. You can see so in detail in the below screenshot.
The game is full of mini game levels that will reward you with valuable inventory or necessary clues. This basically sums up the brief features of this game.
