Windows 8 Grid Search Game: Word Search Saga
Word Search Saga is a free grid search game app for Windows 8 and 8.1 devices. You will be shown a tiled layout of various levels which you can choose to play when you launch the game on your device. Clicking on any one of those will take you to a timed gameplay interface where you have to locate the words listed on the left side of the screen on the grid shown. You can locate the words by clicking and dragging your mouse over the grid area where the word is formed. The word may be present horizontally, vertically or diagonally in either forward or backward directions. You will be able to see your game stats upon completion of the level when all the words have been found.

Main features of Word Search Saga:
As I’ve already mentioned before, when you launch the game you’ll be able to choose from a tiled interface of levels by clicking on them.
Upon making your choice, you will be taken to the gameplay screen. Here, you will be shown the below interface.
The words on the left pane are the ones which have to be found. When you successfully spot a word, you can mark it by clicking and dragging your mouse over the word. It will then be marked on the grid and grayed out from the pane on the left as can be seen below.
The timer will silently be ticking away at the bottom left corner. Once all the words have been located successfully, your stats will pop up on the screen.
You can then choose to restart the same level via the round arrow button, or go back to the main screen by clicking on the back arrow button at the top left.

Word Search Saga is a great game to sharpen your aural and mental skills by speeding up your ability to look up words in a jumbled up grid. The game weighs in at a mere 2.5 Mb and I highly recommend it for everyone running Windows 8 or 8.1. The game is just that good!
Without much thinking, I would rate it a 4.5 out of 5 for its sheer simplicity of concept and complexity of words built in.
