Windows 8 Game To Grow Your Roman Empire: When In Rome

When In Rome is a free game app for Windows 8 and 8.1 in which you have to grow your Roman empire. The game is split into multiple levels in which each level has certain objectives and tasks to be accomplished like harvesting wheat, collecting rocks, building structures, etc. Once the objectives of each level are met, the game proceeds to the next level. The game is designed to have a smooth performance and has a great background score as well, and to make things easier, it’s completely based on mouse clicks and does not need keyboard input of any sort.

Main features of When In Rome for Windows 8 and 8.1:

When you run the game, you will be prompted to enter your name.

Upon entering your name, you can click on the OK button and then proceed into the main menu where you can click on the Play button and select the difficulty of the game. Once all that’s been done, you will be taken to the level selection screen of the game as can be seen below.

Simply click on the level indicated by the arrow marker on the map, and click on the Play button at the bottom of the screen. More levels get unlocked as you complete the previous levels. The first level is basically a tutorial level where you will be taught about the basic tasks of the game. You can see the tutorial in action in the screen below.

Different areas will be indicated and what needs to be done with these is told to you by the lady at the bottom right of the screen. You can then start playing the game once the tutorial is complete, and the gameplay will look somewhat like the screen below.

Different tasks need to be completed to complete a level. The objectives will be told to you when you begin a level, and once these are accomplished, you will be able to complete a level.
