Virtual City Playground HD is a free game for Windows 8 and 8.1 which allows you to build your own city by planting mills, building houses, etc. The game is an online interactive game wherein you can play as the manager/mayor of your city and you can build as many buildings as you want with the available funds that you have. The game has limited resources like coins, etc. so be careful what you build! You should only build what you absolutely need for your city to thrive and grow and become profitable, and this is the motive of the game – to manage your city without running into losses. The game has various objectives that need to be fulfilled, and it’s based on simple mouse clicks. The objectives or goals will be listed to you before each task, and through the game, you keep leveling up at certain intervals as well.

When you launch the game, you will be asked to enter a name for your city which you feel suitable. The game allows you to pick any name of your choice.
Once that’s been done, a small tutorial with guided hints follows. Upon completion of the tutorial, you will be shown various objectives that need to be fulfilled to accomplish or complete the tasks at hand. The objectives screen will be displayed on your screen in the manner shown below.
Just click on the OK button in the above screen, and if you forget what all needs to be done, you can view the objectives again by clicking on the goals marker at the left side of the screen.
You can access the build menu from the bottom of the screen from where you can choose to spend your resources on buildings etc.
