Windows 8 Game App: Battle Fish

Battle Fish is a free game app for Windows 8 and 8.1. In the game you play as a fish who has to balloon up to a large size and then collide with the monsters to make them your friends. Your level will be completed when all the monsters will become your friends. The game has cute graphics, but is ad supported. It works pretty smoothly on all devices. The best part is that the game even supports snapped mode and can be played fully well while snapped on either side of the screen, thereby providing full support for multitasking.

The main features of Battle Fish for Windows 8 and 8.1:

When you run the game, you will be presented with the below screen.

As can be seen above, you can start the game by simply clicking on the Play button at the center of the screen. Once pressed, you will be taken to the level selection screen of the game.

Upon selection of a level that you wish to play, you will be brought to the gameplay screen itself. In the level selection screen, initially only the first level is unlocked like many other games of the same type. More get unlocked as you progress through the game and complete the previous levels. The first level is a brief tutorial as you can see below.

Upon completion of a level, you will be shown your performance in the measure of a star rating as can be seen below.

In the next levels, you will be introduced to monsters on whom you have to collide to make them your friends. With the beginning of each level, you are shown the level’s objectives on your screen before you start it.
