Once started, what follows is a brief tutorial if you are playing the game for the first time. If not, then you are brought to the gameplay screen itself directly, bypassing the tutorial interface. The game has simple controls wherein you can play it via the arrow buttons and the spacebar. The game also involves a bit of math as well to restore the mutated penguins to their former glory by clicking the correct answer.
