Brick Breaker is a free Windows 8 Arkanoid game app in which you have to prevent a bouncing ball from falling out of the screen by controlling a paddle. The bouncing ball hits a pattern of coloured bricks and falls back. On hitting a brick, it gets eliminated from the pattern. Your goal is to eliminate all the bricks on the screen.
Brick Breaker is a remake of classic Arkanoid game which you must have played in your video game or mobile years back. It is a scoring game with 35 free levels. Every level has a different pattern of coloured bricks. As you prevent the bouncing ball from falling after a hit, it fetches you some points. Different coloured bricks are being assigned different points.

Controls:
- Tap on the mouse left key or spacebar to release the ball from the paddle.
- Use the mouse cursor or the right and left arrow keys to move the paddle to catch the bouncing ball back.
Gameplay:
As you launch the app, it will take you to the Start screen. On top of the screen, Hi- Score will be displayed. You will also find a few more options on the Start screen: Select Level, Play, Help, and Sound.
You can either double click on Play button to enter the first level or select the level you want to play, by double clicking on Select Level. As you do a double click on Select Level, the next screen will show you various levels from which you can choose to play the one you like. Double click on the level that you want to play and you will be taken to that level.
Every level has a different pattern of coloured bricks. You are offered three chances to play a level. Your score will be displayed on the top left corner of the screen. Hitting some bricks also release power-up capsules with different types of powers. Capture these power-up capsules and have more fun!
Help option on the Start screen gives you details of the points that each coloured brick carries. Along with this, the powers of power-up capsules are also displayed.
You can keep the sound on or off using Sound option on the Start screen, while playing the game.
Use the backspace button on the keyboard to go back to the Start screen.
