Main features of Sign Language for Windows 8 and 8.1:
When you install and launch the Sign Language app on your Windows 8 or 8.1 device, you will be presented with the main interface of the app as can be seen in the screenshot below.
From the above screen, you can basically choose to access the various menu sections or the help section of the app. You can start off by clicking on the Alphabet sign tile if you want to learn about the alphabets. You can see this demonstrated in the screenshot below.
You will be shown the above screen on clicking on Alphabet Sign. From the above screen you can click on the letters for which you wish to see the signs. When you do so, you will be presented with a screen displaying you a chart of the various letters and how to show them with your hands.
Via the main screen of the app, you can also click on the Videos tile to be presented with a list of videos that you can watch on your device to become more well versed with sign language. A long list of videos related to sign language will be displayed on your screen when you click on the Videos tile, and these can be seen in the screenshot below.
You can click on the tile of any specific video to be presented with a video player interface in which the video which you clicked on will be played back. The app fetches the videos from online sources and thus keeps its size pretty lightweight.
The video can be switched to a full screen format at any time by clicking on the four headed arrow button at the bottom right side of the screen. Overall this sums up the main features of the Sign Language app for Windows 8 and 8.1 devices.
