Specify Custom Events By Name And Date, Count Down To Them: Custom Countdown

Custom Countdown is a free Windows 8 app to specify custom events by name and date, countdown to them. It’s a petite (just about 310 KB) app that provides a simple yet fun way of counting down to any future event, whether it’s a friend’s birthday, Christmas, New Year, or anything else. Just like any other application similar to it, Custom Countdown lets you specify an event by its name and date. Once that’s done, the application immediately starts counting down to the event, displaying the duration in days, hours, minutes and seconds. You can change the event and/or date for being counted down to, at any time. It even lets you view the days left until the event on its pinned live tile.

Step 2: Once you configure the date of the event to be counted down to and hit Save, Custom Countdown instantly gets to work, counting down the days, hours, minutes and seconds left until the event.
