New Year Cards is a very simple to use Windows 8 app. Once you install and launch it, you will see a screen where eCards would be listed as tiles. If you click on any of the eCards, you would see its full preview and if you click on the title of this screen (with a right-headed arrow) you would be taken to another screen where you see more eCard options with bigger thumbnails.
Clicking on any from here also would open the eCard in the preview window. This window shows two arrows at the extreme left and right side of the screen to help you scroll through the cards.
Once you are on your favorite eCard, you can right-click anywhere on it to bring the bottom flyout. This flyout contains an option to Send the eCard. Clicking on it would bring another flyout from the right side, containing option to choose your Outlook Mail to send the card.
Now simply click on this option, configure your mail (if you’ve not already configured it), add a personal message, and click on Send. That’s it! Your eCard would be sent to the desired recipient right away.
