The app allows you to search through and browse the content hosted on Wikipedia, and also allows you to easily favorite the articles on Wikipedia that you like the most for easier access. What’s more, in its reader interface, the app allows you to view all images in the article in one place, and also allows you to browse through the table of contents of a particular article(s). Bing Wikipedia Browser is a minimalist app that stays true to the Windows 8 ecosystem, and also allows for easily opening the articles in web browser interface.

Features of Bing Wikipedia Browser for Windows 8:
Upon installing and launching the Bing Wikipedia Browser app on your Windows 8 or your Windows 8.1 device, you will be presented with the main interface of the app which resembles the below screenshot.
As you can see above, the main screen of the app is nothing but a place which allows you to easily search for key terms. Simply type in the keywords for which you want the search results, and you will be almost instantaneously presented with a massive list of search results as can be easily seen in the below screenshot.
You can see above that a simple search for the key phrase delta echo results in a plethora of results, and these are displayed neatly in large sized text and smooth interface of scrollable vertical list of links. You can click on any one of these links to open up an article in full screen view. Once an article is open, you will be presented with the reader interface of the app.
You can see the reader interface in the above screenshot. You can also see that I have clicked on the More Options button in the above screen which allows you to share the page, find content on the page, read in another language, open the article in your browser etc. You can also click on the other buttons at the top right corner. Clicking on the star button allows you to view your list of favorites which flies in from the right side of the screen.
You can add a favorite by clicking on the star button in the pane that flies in at the top right corner of the screen. You can then view the favorite at any time via this very same button, to reveal the pane with your added favorites. Similarly, you can click on the photo icon at the top right to view all the photos in the article in one place as a scrollable slideshow.
