Free Puzzle Game For Windows 8: Jewel Fever
Jewel Fever is a free Windows 8 game puzzle game that allows you to group 3 similar jewels together to make linkages and vanish the jewels to create high score. When you launch the game, you will be presented with a screen which allows you to select the type of game that you want to play. There are three different game modes that you can choose from the main screen of the game. The main screen also allows you to control other options like music etc.

Features of Jewel Fever for Windows 8…
When you install and launch Jewel Fever on your Windows 8 device, you will be presented with the main screen of the game which looks like the below screenshot.
In the above screen, you can choose to start a new game by clicking on the New Game button. When you click on the New Game button, you can select the difficulty level that you wish to play, and then you will be taken to the next screen of the game where you can play the game itself. You may call this the ‘gameplay’ screen.
In the game, you have to group three similar jewels together to form a linkage, and then you will be awarded score points for the same. You can see a chain for 3 jewels combining in the below screenshot.
You can also see the score at the top left corner, and you will be able to see the level of the game which you are playing at the top right corner of the screen. You can also pause the game at any point of time by clicking on the Menu button at the top left. Alternatively, you can press the Esc. key.
Via the pause menu, you can choose to resume the game, switch the sound on/off, music on/off or go back to the main menu of the game. The game is a really fun way to pass your time when you don’t have anything else to do, and makes for a cool app to have on your device. Once you start playing it, you can be sure of getting hooked on to the game for a long time indeed! Jewel Fever makes for a great game that you can download and install on your device and have a lot of fun playing it in your free time as well. The game is based on the dimple principle of combining three similar jewels together to make a link or a chain that you combines together and disappears, giving you score as it disappears. Overall, this is a great app that works smoothly and does not lag, and at the same time, keeps you entertained for a long time as well. I absolutely love the game, and the implementation of the idea, and the only thing that I don’t really like about this game is that it has ads.
