Pianino Synth Piano is available for free from the Windows App Store.
Main features of Pianino Synth Piano for Windows 8 and 8.1:
When you install and run the Pianino Synth Piano app on your Windows 8 or 8.1 device, you will be presented with the main screen of the app which looks like the below screenshot.
In the main screen of the app, you will be able to see the piano interface where you can play the keyboard by pressing on the piano keys shown on the screen. The piano is not exactly a traditional piano, as it sounds like an electronic synth. At the top of the screen is the volume slider where you can slide it all the way horizontally front or back to control the volume of the app. You can also increase or reduce the number of piano octaves in view by clicking on the + or the – buttons at the bottom right of the screen. The below screenshot shows the synth view zoomed out with more number of octaves in view.
The above screenshot also shows the control bar launched at the top of the screen wherein you can mess around with the sound settings of the app. What’s even more great about this app is that it fully supports snapped mode. When you snap the app to the left or the right of the screen, the synth still remains fully functional, although it changes its orientation. You will understand what I mean by having a look at the screenshot shown below.
Pianino Synth Piano is a well designed piano app for Windows 8 and 8.1 which allows you to precisely access all the features of an electronic synth. The app has a lot of sound effects thrown in and the one feature that I really like about the app is the delay and the echo effects in the synth that can be adjusted from the control bars at the top of the screen. The support for snapped mode make the app all the more better for people who have to multitask, and overall I would rate the app a 4 out of 5!
