Free Cooking App for Windows 8: Great British Chefs
Great British Chefs – Cooking With Kids is a free app for Windows 8 and 8.1 which allows you to cook stunning recipes for your kids or for a party with ease. The app has a beautiful interface and when launched on your device, it will present you with an interface of picture accompanied tiles of recipes which you can click on to be presented with the recipe view, where you will be able to see all the necessary details like the serving size, preparation time, ingredients needed and the instructions for preparing the recipe. When the app is launched, it will also show you the featured recipe at the left side of the screen which you can click on to again, to be presented with its recipe view.

Main features of Great British Chefs – Cooking With Kids for Windows 8 and 8.1:
When you install and run the Great British Chefs – Cooking With Kids app on your Windows 8 device, you will be taken to a screen which resembles the below screenshot.
As you can see in the above screenshot, towards the left side of the app screen, you can see the featured recipe in a large size. You can click on this recipe to be taken to the interface of the recipe details.; If you scroll towards the right side of the screen, you will also be able to see a great deal of more recipes, all in a tiled format. You can see this in the screenshot below.
You can keep scrolling to reveal more and more recipes. If you choose to click on the tile of any recipe, you will be taken to the recipe’s details screen.
The details screen basically provides you with the basic recipe details like serving size, time needed for preparation, etc. You can then choose to view the recipe by clicking on the View recipe button at the bottom of these instructions, and then be provided with the recipe creation details.
You can reveal more instructions by either scrolling towards the left or the right horizontally. You can also go back to the previous screen of the app via the back arrow button at the top left of the screen. The control bars of the app can also be accessed at any given time via the simple gesture of right clicking on the screen.
As can be seen above easily, the app’s control bar allows you to go back to the home screen, access the chefs, view recipes, search for recipes, etc. This is a wrap for the main features of this app for Windows 8 and 8.1 devices. Great British Chefs – Cooking With Kids is a cool cooking app for Windows 8 and 8.1 with a collection of a ton of recipes that can be easily made at home. The app makes for a very handy companion if you wish to prepare food for parties and so on.
