Free Adventure Game For Windows 8: Ninja Land
Ninja Land is a free adventure game for Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 devices. In the game, you play as a ninja who has to defeat the other ninjas in the game. The gameplay is based on climbing on platforms and shooting other ninjas who will try to shoot at you and kill you. The ninjas in the game throw shurikens (or throwing stars) at you, and you have to dodge them. Touching a shuriken or jumping on a ninja will result in instant death, and your score upto that point will be recorded. The game has on screen controls, and also supports keyboard controls. You can use the up arrow to jump, and the left and right arrows for movement. To shoot a shuriken at an enemy ninja, you have to click on the on screen shoot button using your mouse, so basically on non touch devices, it takes a coordination of keyboard and mouse to play successfully and get a high score. On touch screen devices, multi touch is supported, and you can simply use the on screen buttons to play the game.
Ninja Land is an extremely lightweight game, and has been coded specifically to run smoothly on all Windows 8 or Windows 8.1 devices. It is available for free from the Windows App Store.
Controls:
UP ARROW: Jump.
LEFT ARROW: Move left.
RIGHT ARROW: Move right.
ON SCREEN SHOOT BUTTON: (touch sensitive button) Click on this with your mouse to shoot shurikens.
ON SCREEN ARROW BUTTONS: Allows you to move on touch enabled devices.
Main features of Ninja Land for Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 devices:
When you install and launch the Ninja Land game app on your Windows 8 or Windows 8.1 device, you will be presented with the main menu of the game itself which allows you to quickly and easily start a game by clicking on the Start button at the center of the screen. This screen looks like the below screenshot.
Once you have pressed the Start button in the above screen, you will be taken to the gameplay screen itself. The gameplay screen resembles the below screenshot.
As you can see in the above screenshot, the gameplay screen consists of several platforms on which you have to jump to go up, and in the process, you will see many smaller ninjas whom you have to kill using your shuriken. If they touch you or hit you with their shuriken, you will die. For each ninja that you shoot down, you score 500 points which are added in the score meter at the top right corner of the gameplay window. The touch screen controls are present at all time on the screen, with the movement arrow buttons at the bottom left, and the shoot button at the bottom right. In all, this basically sums up the main features and the how to on playing the Ninja Land game on your Windows 8 or Windows 8.1 device.

The game is absolutely free, and the best part about it is that it can be played on touch and non touch devices alike. The game has cute graphics, and you will definitely feel like playing more and more of it once you get the hang of it.
