Free Adventure Game App for Windows 8: Viking
Viking: The Adventure is a free adventure game app for Windows 8 and 8.1. In the game, you can choose to play as a male or a female Viking character and collect coins. You can use your arrow keys to move, spacebar to jump and ctrl button to attack the monsters. The goal is to get as many coins as possible. The game starts with an interesting story video which you can watch to have a brief idea about the story line of the game. The overall game graphics are very well designed and look great!

Main features of Viking: The Adventure for Windows 8 and 8.1:
When you install and run the Viking: The Adventure game app on your Windows 8 or 8.1 device, you will be presented with the following interface.
In the above screen, you can click on the barrel to be taken to the next screen of the game where you will be shown a brief gameplay video of the game itself. This screen can be seen below.
Once the video is complete, you will be presented with the character selection screen. This screen allows you to choose either a male or a female Viking character. Once you have chosen the character, click on the arrow button at the bottom right of the screen which will bring you to the level selection screen. The level selection screen looks pretty nice, and it can be seen in the below screenshot.
Initially only the first level is unlocked, and more get unlocked as you progress through the game. When you click on the icon of a level, you will be taken to the gameplay screen.
You can control the Viking using either touch buttons at the bottom left and right, or you can use the arrow buttons for movement, spacebar to jump and Ctrl to attack. You can also pause the game by clicking on the pause button at the top right corner of the screen. Once the level is complete, you will be shown the result screen. This looks like the below screenshot.

Viking: The Adventure is a pretty well designed game that allows you to play as a Viking in the medieval ages who has to collect coins and create a high score. The game makes for a good download on all devices running Windows 8 and above, and this makes for a really nice pastime game app!
