Free Adventure Game App For Windows 8: Reaper

Reaper is a free adventure game app for Windows 8 and 8.1 which is based on the principle of attacking and killing enemies who come in your way. The game has excellent graphics, and until a while ago was a paid app, but now due to its popularity, it’s been converted into a free app with in-app purchases available. When you launch the game, you will be presented with the main menu of the game where you can start the game by simply pressing the Start button. The game is designed in a 2D form of gameplay, much like the Super Mario Bros style, only with insanely better graphics.

Reaper is available for free from the Windows App Store.

Reaper controls

The controls of the game are explained better towards the end of this article. Reaper attacks automatically when it sees pots of gold or enemies approaching towards him, however, manual attacks can be performed by pressing the up or down arrow keys. Manual attacks are more powerful than auto attacks.

You can see purple glowing orbs throughout the game which will give you helpful hints to help you get through the level. You can see Reaper attacking a pot of gold above. Auto attacks generate gold skulls which appear at the top of the screen. Manual attacks deplete these gold skulls in exchange for more attack power.
