Birdie Flap is a free Flappy Bird like game for Windows 8 and 8.1. When you launch the game on your device, you will be presented with two basic controls – one which allows you to start the game and the other which allows you to view the best scores. The rules are very similar to the original Flappy Bird iteration – all you have to do is to keep clicking rapidly on the screen to keep the bird flying, and guide it in a way that it doesn’t collide with the obstacles.

When you install and run Birdie Flap on your device, you will be presented with the below shown interface.
Just click on the Play! button at the bottom of the screen, and you’ll be taken to the gameplay screen itself. The gameplay screen bears a good resemblance to the original Flappy Birds game, but it also brings a fresh look to the game as it’s only similar, but not completely same as the Flappy Bird game. The game shows you your score at the top left corner of the screen, and the pipe obstacles will keep coming in your way as you keep flapping your way onwards to achieve a high score. The game has pretty basic controls wherein you can keep the bird afloat by keeping on clicking on the screen, or if you are on a touch screen device, you can also tap on your screen with your finger rapidly to keep the bird flying. The game is over as soon as you crash on any obstacle.
Coming back to the main screen of the app, you can also access your high scores by clicking on the Best Score button right below the Play! button, and you will be shown your highest score.
