Enigmatic Windows 8 Game- Princess Isabella: A Witch’s Curse
Princess
Given the game’s complete look, feel and graphics, you would expect this to weigh a lot, but the game surprisingly manages to keep its size pretty light. The game can be downloaded freely from the Windows App Store.
Main features of Princess Isabella: A Witch’s Curse for Windows 8 and 8.1…
When you install and launch Princess Isabella: A Witch’s Curse on your device, you will be prompted to enter your name. Your player profile inside the game will be created with this name, so you can either use your actual name or keep it something funky (like Lord XYZ, for instance).
Once entered, you will be shown a brief video. I really like this concept of introducing the mystery games with videos, as a lot of these games have been doing it of late. This enables the players to learn a lot about the storyline, which is also the case in this scenario. A frozen view from the game’s video can be seen below.
The video can be skipped by clicking anywhere on the video interface. The game has a lot of hidden object scenes as can be seen below.
And it also has the typical storage inventory at the bottom of the screen, along with maneuvers like allowing you to zoom up on objects by clicking on them, as can be seen below.
Objects can be dragged and dropped from the inventory onto zoomed up objects on up close. The game also has a quest book at the bottom right to keep track of your objectives and goals.
The hints button is hidden and is only revealed when you click on the small sized fairy which keeps floating around the room wherever you go.
With this, I wrap up the main features of this game!

Conclusion…
Princess Isabella: A Witch’s Curse is a great game which can be downloaded for free from the Windows App Store. The graphic performance of the game is off the charts, and the game runs really smoothly as well. My only real complaint with the game is that it isn’t really optimized well for wide screen devices, as it prefers to run in a square sized screen size, but apart from that, there isn’t really anything that I dislike about the game!
