Dessert Princess is a free app for Windows 8 and 8.1 which allows you to feed the sweet desserts to the princess. The game is pretty lightweight and makes for a good pastime app with features that will be adored by kids of all ages. The game has very basic controls with arrow buttons on either side of the screen allowing you to move the princess left or right and guiding the falling desserts into her mouth. Make sure not to feed her healthy food as that will deduct points from your score.

Main features of Dessert Princess for Windows 8 and 8.1:

When you install and launch the Dessert Princess app for Windows 8 and 8.1, you will be presented with the main menu of the game which resembles the below screenshot.

Here, you can either choose to directly start the game by clicking on the Start button, or you can choose to view the game tips by clicking on the Tips button. When you click on the Tips button, you will be presented with the interface of instructions on your screen. This interface is shown in the below screenshot.

You can see the instructions listed in a very cute way on the screen. You can click on the crown button at the top right corner of the screen to go back to the previous screen of the game. Now, you can start the game by clicking on the Start button. When you click on the same, you will be presented with the gameplay screen of the game. The gameplay screen is shown in the below screenshot.

You can see that you have to move the princess around to feed her the desserts that are falling from above. You can see the remaining time countdown at the top right, and you can also see your score at the top left of the screen. Each vegetable that you feed the princess will subtract one point from your total score. You can move the princess around via the touch buttons on either side of the screen, or the arrow buttons on your keyboard on non touch screen devices to move the princess left or right.

Once the game is over, you will be shown the performance analysis screen which is shown in the screenshot below.
