Free Windows 8 Racing Game App: Beach Buggy Racing
Beach Buggy Racing is a free car racing game for Windows 8 and 8.1. Upon launch of the game, you will be presented with an interface which allows you to learn the basic controls of the game depending on the control set which you select. Then you can simply start racing. The controls of the game are pretty simple to learn, with the right and left arrows allowing you to navigate the buggy and down arrow allowing you to brake. The buggy which you drive accelerates automatically so you don’t need to worry about that. The game also has certain power ups which can be obtained by driving over the question mark symbols on the road, and these can be used to damage other racers in the game.

When you launch the game on your device, you will be shown the below screen.
You can start the game from the above screen by simply pressing the Play button. As soon as you click on it, you will be taken to the control set selection screen. From here, you will be able to choose the type of controls with which you wish to control your buggy in the game. You can see this selection screen in the screenshot below.
Once selected, you will be shown a brief introduction of the game, detailing you about the control set which you have selected.
The introduction when over, will take you to a practical tutorial wherein you will be able to test it all out. The game also has powerups which can be picked up from the race track during a race, and then be used on other racers to damage them.
You can see that I have used a missile powerup in the above screenshot, and you can see that the player is thrown into the air. The game revolves around racing, and the race looks like the below screenshot.
The game can be paused at any instant from the pause button at the top right corner of the screen or via the Esc. button. Your aim is to end the race in the first position!
