Free Windows 8 Calendar App: Cazendar

Cazendar is a free app for Windows 8 and 8.1 devices which allows you to create and add events to various dates. The app makes for a great way to manage events on your device. When you launch the app, you will be presented with an interface which allows you to add dates, etc. Upon launching the app, you will be asked to log in to your Microsoft Account to allow the app to sync the dates to your Microsoft Account in the cloud as well, and this makes for a major strength of this app. You can also choose to add your Google Calendar to the app.

Cazendar is available as a free download from the Windows App Store.

Main features of Cazendar for Windows 8 and 8.1:

When you launch the app on your device, you will be presented with the main interface of the app which will look like the below screenshot.

In the main screen of the app, you can see that you will be able to refresh the feeds, or go to a particular date. This can be accomplished by clicking on the toggles at the bottom of the screen. You can also access the settings of the app via the settings button at the bottom right of the screen, and you can also access the Accounts settings via the Accounts button. When you click on the Accounts button, you will be presented with the following pane at the right of the screen.

You can also choose to log in to your Google calendar, and do a lot more from this pane at the right side of the screen. The app basically also lets you navigate to a particular date and time by clicking on the Go to date button at the bottom left of the screen which will present you with an interface which you can see in the screenshot below.

To go back, you can use the back arrow button at the top left of the screen at any point of time. From the main screen of the app, you can also choose to create a new event via the create event button. The app’s settings button when pressed, will present you with the following interface.
