Thunder City Car Racing is a free car racing game app for Windows 8. When you install and launch the game, you will be presented with an interface where you can race against many racers, all of which are controlled by the computer. The app makes for a good download as it is lightweight, and runs smoothly on almost all Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 devices. It also has on screen touch controls, and can also be used with non touch devices where you can use the arrow buttons on the keyboard to control your car and race against the racers.

When you install and launch the Thunder City Car Racing game on your Windows 8 or Windows 8.1 device, you will be presented with the main screen of the app which looks like the screenshot below.
Just click on the Play button in the above screen and you will be presented with the gameplay screen of the game. The gameplay screen of the app shows a panning camera with your car parked along with the others. Then in 3 seconds, the race starts automatically. When the game starts, you are presented with the gameplay screen which looks like the below screenshot.
You can use the touch controls on the screen which are shown in the above screenshot. Alternatively, you can use the arrow buttons for controlling the car. You can use the up arrow, down arrow, left arrow and right arrow for accelerating, decelerating, turning left and turning right respectively. If you are not careful, you might crash your car. The car crash can look pretty nasty, and I have shown one of my car crashes in the below screenshot.
Once the race is complete, you will be shown your stats which will give you a brief idea of the gameplay performance. This basically concludes the how to and the main features of the Thunder City Car Racing game for Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 devices.

What’s more, the game has dedicated touch screen controls which allow for easy gameplay experience on touch screen devices and also supports gameplay on non touch devices as well using the arrow keys. The game is free from ads of all kinds, and hence you get a seamless and unobtrusive experience of gameplay. Overall, this app has all it takes to be a good racing game app, and hence makes for a great download on all Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 devices!
