5 Reasons To Look Forward To Windows 8 In 2012

Here are 5 reasons to look forward to Windows 8 in 2012. Although Windows 8 is populated with a large number of new and innovative features and you may think of plenty of reasons which compel you to use Windows 8, here are the top 5 reasons for which I look forward to Windows 8 in 2012.

 1. Super Fast Boot process

The boot time of Windows 8 is tremendously reduced as compared to the previous versions of Windows. It results in very fast booting (5-7 seconds for my PC).

 2. Ribbon User Interface

The journey of Ribbon UI started from Microsoft Office, and now it had gained its place in the Windows 8 explorer interface. While some of you may still be in love with the old style drop down menus, I can guarantee that once you get accustomed with the new Ribbon Interface, you will never return to drop down menus.

 3. Internet Explorer 10

IE 10 is much more enhanced and polished than its previous versions. You can get the taste of its 32-bit variant as well as 64-bit variant by installing just a single app. You need Windows 7 or Windows 8 to install IE 10.

 4. Microsoft Windows Store

Microsoft has created an online software market from where users can purchase apps for Metro UI interface of Windows 8.

 5. Picture Password

You can use gestures in various shapes like lines, circles etc. on a picture to create a picture password. It is more secure as easy to remember method as compared to text-based passwords. Read the entire post on Windows 8 Picture Password reviewed by us.
