The Complete Sherlock Holmes – Free is a free app for Windows 8 which allows you to read Sherlock Holmes books for free on your device. The app lets you easily select the book that you wish to read, and upon clicking on the thumbnail of a book, you will be taken to the reader interface where you can easily carry on reading the books. In the reader screen, you can navigate between pages by using the arrow buttons at either side of the screen. You can also bookmark a page which you can access later through the home page of the app.

Upon running The Complete Sherlock Holmes – Free app you will see the home page of the app allows you to easily and quickly select the book that you want to read by clicking on its thumbnail.
The interface of the app is designed to give a feel of old paper. You can see the various books listed on the screen, accompanied with the picture thumbnails as well. You can click on any of these book’s thumbnails to begin reading them. Once you click on a book, you will be taken to the chapter selection screen which can be seen in the screenshot below.
Choosing to read a chapter is as easy as merely clicking on the chapter name, upon doing which you will be taken to the reader interface. The reader interface looks neat and minimalistic, and shows the content in full screen size. The reader interface can be seen in the screenshot below.
The scroll bar at the bottom allows you to scroll horizontally, and navigation between pages is done through two tine angle bracket shaped buttons which can be seen on both sides of your current page. If you look closely at the top of the screen, you will be able to see a + and a – button which will easily allow you to add or remove a bookmark. This bookmark can be accessed from the main page of the app by clicking on the plus button at the top right corner.
The above two screenshots show the main menu and the screen that opens when you click on the plus button. You can see your bookmarks in this screen, and can click on these to jump to your bookmarked pages. Overall this concludes the brief features of this app!
